Travel Grants
A limited number of travel grants will be made available to conference attendees. In order to be considered for a travel grant, applicants should receive little or no funding from their home institutions and should have to travel a reasonable distance. Each applicant should compose a short statement describing his or her needs, including a budget, and send it to the conference email address: IHGradConference@UCMerced.edu by April 1, 2016. Awards will be given in amounts between $100 and $200, and will be based on need.
Prizes
Small prizes will be awarded for best poster and precirculated paper.
The precirculated paper prize is optional, and each participant wishing to be considered for this prize should submit a refined version of his or her paper to IHGradConference@UCMerced.edu by April 8, 2016. Each of these prizes will be awarded to a first-, second-, and third-place presenter and will range between $50 and $150.
